Draped in Stripes.

Vertical stripes definitely are my new thing, I could definitely use more of a taller and slimmer look. The stripes I’ve worn in this post and my previous post have done just that.

Backstage Pass.

My goal this summer is to attend a few concerts. I have not been to a concert since maybe 2011-2012. I saw my auntie Erykah Badu in Greensboro during GHOE. Great show, but that was so long ago.

Thank You, Come again.

Thank You, Come again! This look was based around one of my favorite bags. My Chinese takeout bag that I searched high and low for about 4-5 years ago. I pride myself on being a person that can find just about anything with only seeing a picture of it, but I will say that this one really gave me a run for my money.

Fall reBOOT.

Now that I am in the mindset of Fall/Winter it was only right for me to get my BOOT wardrobe together. What I usually do is sell my old clothes and shoes from the previous year so that I can use those funds to buy new stuff! But I’m off to a good start so far. All of my boots were purchased for $40 or less from some of your favorite retailers…Aldo, Marshalls and MakeMeChic to name a few. See my starting line up below!

Fall Starting Line-Up 2016

Though I dread that the seasons change, there’s no doubt that Fall weather will be upon us soon. In my case, I have no choice but to be prepared wardrobe wise. So now is the perfect time to snag ALL the brand new stuff during all the “Back To School” sales that are going on. So far I have snagged 4 pairs of shoes ranging from heels to flats and of course I got them for a steal!!

Check them out below!

Fringe High Top Sneaker-Target  ($35)

The fringed moccasin has repeatedly shown us that its a “must have” each and every year. I already have two pairs of Minnetonka Moccasins so this Fringed Sneaker is a twist to the trend and will pair perfectly with skinny jeans or distressed boyfriend jeans.

Chelsea Rain Boot- Target ($25)

I’ve had about 5 pairs of rain boots my whole life and this pair that I snagged from Target has to be my favorite of all time. They are so convenient and easy to wear. The biggest issue I have with rain boots are that they are so hard to put on and take off. Its like I always have to have someone standing by to assist with removing them. Annoying! But with these I don’t have that problem at all!

Black & Green Knit Booties-Shoe Trend ($35)

These Yeezy inspired booties got me so excited when I found them in a hole in the wall shoe store in Charlotte because I’ve been eyeing a similar thigh high boot on Ego that would run me about $60. They have about 5 different colors and I almost walked out with Three pairs that day.  I will most likely pair them with pair them with biker shorts and a distressed/bleached Band tee.

I still have a ton of stuff to buy for the upcoming fall but this was a great start!
