Can you believe there’s only 6 days left in the year 2017??
I feel like it was just yesterday I was trying to figure out how I would spend my NYE and countdown until the New Year.
I wish that I had better news to share with you all… like that I haven’t shopped at all since moving to across the country BUT I have! And I want to share some great tips on How to Shop Year Round on a budget!
Let me just start off by saying pink isn’t my favorite color at all. But being into fashion has helped me warm up to having pink in my wardrobe at all because if I see an item I like and it’s only in pink I’ll definitely grab it without hesitation.
Please, please, please tell me you’ve been on Zara.com or have visited a Zara store within the last couple weeks?! If not you are truly missing out because I have racked up on some good items all for under $20 each which is right up my alley.
Band Tees have been one of the most purchased items in my wardrobe within the past few months. Whether I’m distressing a band tee for a customer or pairing one with my favorite leather pencil skirt, there’s no doubt that you should have at least one band tee in your wardrobe. This is part one of my three part Band Tee Series showing how I like to style my tees.
Patches have been my latest obsession for the last couple months and any time I come across cool ones while out shopping I have to snag them. This is my second jacket that I have decked out in patches! Paired with a racerback body con maxi dress from JCP and my “the dirtier the better” Converse sneakers! Chill look for a day out shopping or hanging out with friends.
Jacket: Target (Clearance item $11)
Sneakers: Converse/ JCP
Patches: Etsy & Buffalo Exchange
There are times when I want my look to be more coordinated than others and this was one of those times. I had been holding on to this jacket for almost two months and its already too hot to wear in the NC Heat but it worked out for a 5 am shoot! I really love Adidas and the majority of their printed clothing. It always seems to end up in my wardrobe.
Location: NoDa (Charlotte, NC)
Crop V-Neck: Forever21
Shorts: Adidas.com or Nordstrom
When you are inspired by Yeezy but are on are on a Target budget you make due with Ego Shoes! I absolutely love these see-through heels that I snagged from Ego. Very affordable and can be paired with just about anything. Only downside is that I have really healthy calves so they don’t zip up all the way! Psshh! I’m still going to wear them. I paired them with a tiger bodysuit, destroyed denim boyfriend jeans and Mesh bomber jacket. I’m giving you Urban Cinderella at the lake.
Heels: Ego Shoes
