Marimekko for Target was the most recent collaboration released at Target. The collection was released April 17th! The vibrant prints and colors really caught my eye and definitely make me want to take a second look to see what I would want to snag from the line. Marimekko is a mash up of authentic nordic sensibility and iconic prints to make a signature collection of fashion and home pieces. I had the chance to check out this boisterous line on the day it was released in stores and tried on a few items I was interested in. Some of the items did run big as far as size. The items are reasonably priced for the most part, ranging from $16.99 to $39.99 for the clothing and $9.99 to $499.99 for the home items.
For the last few months I’ve been very interested in incorporating sneakers into my wardrobe. But the thing that really deters me is that all the sneakers I really like are either over priced or sold out within seconds or days. I like the ease of liking something and being able to purchase it without hassle. So I wanted to help out my fellow frugal shopaholics with some choices under $100!

This year my wardrobe was a mixture of basics and neutrals that I could piece together beautifully without a hitch! It’s been going well thus far but as the summer is approaching I’m wanting to buy more color and upbeat prints to give my wardrobe some edginess. My favorite Maxi Vest is from the WhoWhatWear for Target line. I snagged it with a quickness and I’ll probably keep it forever, so chic! When I find a basic body con dress that fits me well and isn’t thin as I don’t know what I try to buy them in all colors. Got this cream one from Forver 21 for under $15! Last but not least my fringe heels from Targét as some folks call it. I caught these when they had just started putting out New Spring Merchandise! Win!

Everyone knows California’s weather throughout the year is a mixture between light fall, spring and hot summer. This is look is a direct reflection of my love for California’s weather. The light weight faux leather jacket is from the WhoWhatWear for Target line. My weekly shopping trip to TJMaxx revealed a hidden jewel amongst it New Arrivals… a Kendall&Kylie pleated shirt dress. My lovely fur slides were a DIY Project I did about a week ago. You can check out that post here.

I really felt like a modern day chic Where’s Waldo? in this striped T-shirt dress. Originally when I saw it in Forever21 I thought it was just an oversized T-shirt. But to my surprise after looking online I found out it was T-shirt dress! The coat I snagged it off the sale rack at Zara in FL. Its so light and comfortable. The bag was my favorite part of this look. I happened to run across it on Polyvore and to my luck it was on sale at JCP.com for $18. My Converse sneakers are a wardrobe staple. I’ve also heard that the “dirtier they are.. the better”.
